Or even better, the words of Barry Scheck of the Innocence Project: "How many cockroaches do you have to find in a bowl of spaghetti before you won't eat it? This is reasonable doubt." In my view, if Crippen had to appear in front of a jury today (except in certain death-penalty crazy states), given the evidence they had then, coupled with the technology we have today, he might have been a free man.
